mandered districts won't support a Republican who votes for it, but a Republican presidential candidate can. Same reason they voted for it in the Senate. The Republicans who run state-wide can win voting for immigration. I wish we could force the vote, but we can't with Boehner at the helm. As long as he can refuse to bring it up for a vote there isn't much that can be done. Hopefully their stalling and bad dealing will hurt them more in 2014 than it will help them in 2016.
