former Attorney General Holder in the future?
If the precedent is set for an persecuting an Attorney for giving an opinion - what of the Attorney that defends a murderer who kills again?
As for Cheney, Vice Presidents are not in the Chain of Command and are not Deputy Commanders in Chief. They give no orders outside their immediate White House and Senate staffs. The approval to kill a US person(Alawki) went from the President to the Secretary of Defense and/or CIA directly without passing through the Vice President.
