They were chosen to appease the protesters, only four of the cabinet members that I saw had a really bad background. I think the far right elements gained traction because liberals didn't recognize Maidan as a popular movement, but out most certainly was. If you leave a vacuum someone will fill it.

The hope should be that Valiti wins the elections, and it's doubtful the makeup of the cabinet will include any of the current members. The acting PM even said it was a suicide cabinet. However, if the oligarch wins Ukraine is doomed.
