with zero credibility. There were several studies done, in fact, due to the lowered infant mortality rate in the Northern areas, where the UN controlled the oil for food program, one has to wonder if it wasn't the corruption in parts of the Iraqi government responsible for many of those deaths.
Also, it was the failure of Saddam Hussein to comply with weapons inspections and other reasonable requests by the UN that led to all of this, not some unilateral embargo leveled by the United States. Place the blame where it truly lies. With Saddam Hussein, brutal dictator.
