I count 47 days between Dec. 1 and Jan. 16. That is not peaceful for months. That is peaceful for 1 months and a half. Even then it wasn't very peaceful. And the early protests were incredibly violent with incendiary petrol bombs being thrown at police who seemed to be showing restraint. People can decide for themselves as there is plenty of video evidence out there on which factions were demonstrating the most violence.

As for your theory that Russia is behind the Far right groups....that sounds a bit tin foil. Especially in light of the fact the hard right wingers were throwing out the pro Russian government.
