All the Republican Govs on the Gulf Coast are bought off by BP. They have chosen the foreign Oil corp. over their constituents. BP just got off of probation for the Texas City blast where they killed 15 and injured thousands. They got off even though they re-offended. That's the big difference. There is never any question about whether a BP executive would face jail time for anything committed here. It would NEVER happen!
