Perhaps you're watching Faux news and listening to Rush Limpballs.

We did stage coups in all of those countries .. and I didn't even mention Greece, Iran, El Salvador, Brazil and Paraguay. We had a puppet government for years in Vietnam and we were instrumental in deposing the government in Cambodia with a resultant rise of Pol Pot. We were behind a coup in Pakistan that deposed democratically elected Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to be replaced by General Zia ul Haq because he was helping us against the Russians in Afghanistan.

All this is well documented and if you did a little web research you'll find it to be true.
