6. Someone who quits school to get a GED shouldn't be counted as a dropout.

If they've learned enough to pass the GED test, isn't it idiotic to count that against the school? I think kids should be encouraged to test out of school early if they're able to. How much they've learned should be what matters, not how much time their butts have spent in classroom seats. Let the schools concentrate on the kids who need more classroom time.
