...but the issue I was raising was the erroneous and continual conflation of homophobia and pedophilia.

And, based on your reply to my original post here, it leads me to ask:

Do you think they should be linked?

Should the homophobia of our LGBT friends be associated with child sexual abuse?

I think issues should not be linked, and that it does not help the LGBT cause and does not help in the battle against child sexual abuse.

To repeat the association, regardless of how much you dislike the BSA and wish to attack it, brings a form of credibility to the association.

It is not helpful.
