My point is, it can be assumed that he self-identifies as Hispanic since that is how is father describes him. His father has also said his son is "...a Spanish speaking minority...".

I am not suggesting that a Hispanic person can't be a racist. Anyone can be a racist. But I will not go so far to say that Hispanic people can be racists against people of other ethnic groups. It has been correctly argued in this very thread that Hispanics/Latinos are a racially diverse ethnicity. It is therefore inaccurate to describe bigotry by or against their ethnic group as racism.
