but the photographer would be a freelance photographer who works for the Knoxville News Sentinel named John Messner. The Knoxville newspaper at its website references the UK newspaper story and the fact that the Knox County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) is investigating. It also names the person who allegedly was strangled (Jared Dotson) and mentions that he was arrested for public intoxication. I guess we'll have to wait on the local papers to see where this story goes.
