(15,882 posts)Because for the bears, you see, we bought and set aside their entire neighborhood, made sure they don't have to get jobs, and can spend all day long outdoors browsing for fresh produce and fish. We also put policies and regulations in place so their food can remain plentiful and free, such as those for clean water, protecting the habitat of animals and plants they might feed on.
So, if we buy those families a house, make sure their needs for safety are met, make sure there is enough free food laying around and that they can just go out all day in the sunshine to hunt and gather, and some provision is made so they can continue to get food in the winter (because, unlike bears, they don't store it in their fat cells all winter long. But then you know that, 'cause u a doctor, right?), then yeah, I could see where we wouldn't need food stamps.
Until then...
On edit - Oh yeah - we got rid of one of their natural predators, the wolf. So we would probably have to get rid of some bankers, just to make it kind like the same, yes?
