Eventually it's inevitable that there will be bud competitions just like there are homebrewing competitions today, but the home grower, at present, doesn't have similar technology to the homebrewer's ability to measure specific gravity and infer alcoholic content, etc. (If that's how it works, more or less.) Just like any good American industry, the legislators want to favor corporations over the private producer. Seems like a good opportunity for an inventor to develop a home THC potency kit to me.
