That is essentially what he did from Republic to Independent to Democrat. It is true that people change their mind on issues. However, when you change your view on nearly every issue, especially when its to be inline with a new party, I don't think its sincere. I personally think most politicians are fake, but Crist is in a league of his own here. Obviously if you think he will be the best governor than vote for him. Everytime I go to the ballot, I realize that almost every person on it is an opportunist, and probably don't mean half of what they say. I would certainly vote for Crist over a republican, because it would probably be for the best. However, I still don't respect the man. Keep in mind that just a few years ago when he ran as an independent, he was still officially anti choice and anti gay marriage while trying to play both sides. He is not a man of principals. I would personally vote for someone else in the Florida primary if I lived there, but he will still probably win.
