I am not a flag waving idiot by any means, but blanket (and ignorant) statements like yours make you cringe.

I have travelled the world (mostly for business) and one thing I take away is that every country is fucked up in its own way. I am currently in Canada (beloved by many of us) and reading stories of 660 missing\murdered indigenous women , horrible abuses of minorities and idiot mayors.

You want racism - go to the Middle East and you will be sickened.
You want abuse of idigenous peoples - try South America
You want anti-woman violence -- well....go anywhere


It is easy to throw stones at our house, but every year millions of people leave everything they know to come here. We have our problems - but to blanket condemn this country and its culture is simply ignorant of the world at large.
