measuring each subscriber's time online and packets of data streamed. And they have no intention of letting their customers have any say.

The net is being throttled by private interests, not the government. The FCC is trying to get ahead of the corporations to save what is left of the net that we have used for some years and people took it for granted, but those supplying the interfaces are going to demand their costs of the expansion be paid. There i not an infinite amount of digits and hardware.

The Republicans are already screaming the FCC has no right to tell these businesses anything. The status quo of the past is being assailed by business and Franken and Wheeler are standing alone in the fight to stop it.

All I have said, I learned via DU from Daily Kos and threads with the statements by Franken and the Comcast story as well.

We need rules to protect us from strong forces who are setting rules in place right now, with no citizen input.
