..and it's kinda stupid, but as hateful racist stereotypes go, this is weak. I guess they shouldn't have aired it, that's true, but I think we're seeing an overreaction. I know Cheech and Chong have gone way past this level without raising a single eyebrow of concern. Is it truly offensive at it's core, or is it a matter of the source?

I think it can be called "insensitive" at best and be taken down as it was, then dropped. Focus on the deplorable conditions of detainment instead of this distraction.
