Obama himself called the Iraq war a success in 2011 as the last troops were drawn down.... You can bet that the rightwing will be playing videos and declaring that because the President abandoned Iraq for purely political reasons the Iraqis now cannot defend themselves from this onslaught of ISIS.

We have left fully manned military bases behind after every conflict except Vietnam and Iraq. You can expect the rightwing to try and paint Iraq as Obama's Vietnam...
