In reply to the discussion: Russia accuses US of fueling Ukrainian crisis [View all]DeSwiss

- Yes, and here's why:
When your economy runs off of military confrontations and conflicts, then you must seed conflicts in one area to let the wind and nature take its course. Make a little trouble in Syria, for example, to scare up oil prices. Or alternately, throw doubt into the Ukraine sitch and the next thing you know natural gas prices are skyrocketing. Everyone makes a killing. It's like printing your own money. Because you can.
Eventually a ''need'' for intervention will arise from your sprouting blossoms. Soon a new ''budding democracy'' is crying out for our HELP!, and we're ever at the ready. With our rapid forces and planes, our drones and satellite cameras we see all, know all and can kill all if we want to. Another ragtag faux army of terrorists will be defeated no doubt, and all will be safe once again with the world. Until tomorrow, of course.
So supplies get used up, bombs get exploded, planes get flown and guns shoot a lot of bullets. A lot of bullets. People get killed, maimed and injured. All of which have to be replaced. And all will feed the new seeds that were planted by this fresh conflict, and soon it will seed itself.
And all of this has to be purchased. Some from high schools and colleges. Some from defense contractors and bullet makers -- all conveniently spread-out among the best Congressional districts to insure a continuing flow of cash for the folks back home.
And then this is where the Federal Reserve Bank (AKA: Wall Street) comes in, and our great-grandchildren become further enslaved by our timidity.
''The true value of a conflict is in the debt it produces -- you control the debt, you control everything''.

So wildly well expressed. I certainly agree with ballyhoo. Must be heartfelt, to be so accurate.

Almost certainly some truth to the statement even if Russia is guilty as well.

When it comes to Ukraine, Russia's your classic abusive, jealous spouse.

Sounds like the same relationship between progressives and the Democratic Party.
