I understand the emotion given the situation, and I agree that some serious heads need to do some serious rolling at the Sanford police dept., but there's no reason for taking it out on another poster and certainly not for the all caps, that is beyond incredibly annoying and only turns people off, even people who may agree with you.

And I think what he meant about the OWS statement on his first post you responded to was that he was trying to show the illogic of broad brushing stereotypes, such as the one about all OWS protestors being violent, lazy, unemployed thugs. He's wasn't making any slam on OWS, just broad brushing stereotypes.

And I was sure glad there were police around to help me when I was mugged at gunpoint several years ago. Just what would you suggest be done about real criminals and crime without police?
