War or peace?

If the negotiations for peace are not fruitful, there will be war.

What do you prefer?

I prefer peace. To get peace, the Palestinians need to show Israel that they can give Israel what Israel wants as long as Israel gives Palestinians what they want.

The Palestinians have failed to establish that they are capable of respecting and keeping a peace should they and Israel negotiate it.

It's very simple.

Israel, on the other hand, has demonstrated a) that they can return prisoners, b) that they can evict settlers and hand over land to the Palestinians, and c) that they can enforce a peace within the borders of Israel, i.e. prevent Israeli citizens from attacking Palestinians or at least arrests Israeli citizens for attacking Palestinians without the direction of the Israeli government.

Palestinians have not demonstrated their capacity to do those three things that are essential to peace. Therefore, since the choice is necessarily between probably lengthy and difficult peace negotiations or war, the Palestinians have chosen war.
