Maybe Zimmerman removed the band-aid. Maybe the blood that the police officer saw on the back of Zimmerman's head was not from a cut there. Did Zimmerman claim that he had a gash on the back of his head? If he didn't claim it, there is no lie. It's dangerous to make inferences based on so little information.
