Knows that Kyiv has been overly aggressive and absolutely unwilling to compromise or be sensitive and careful in how they conduct the war. Their own actions evidence their nature despite huge effort spent on propaganda.

That is partly because the war is not all being fought by Kyiv, Oligarchs such as Kolomorsky have battalions of their own they essentially allow leaders of far right militant organizations (like Right Sector) to manage. But it is also because there is such a large presence of right wing extremists in or threatening the executive and legislative branches that they are required to act in an overly aggressive manner.

The western press has reported white as black and black as white, but the fact is that there have been many calls for ratcheting down and discussing compromise and Kyiv has consitantly talked like they are interested but *never* actually participated. Despite the fact that there are plenty of indications that a well constructed federalized unity would likely be welcomed.

Trouble with believing the Ukrainian press version of events, is it is common knowledge now that the Press and public figures in the country are under duress and heavily censured.
The narratives that worked for a while are lost. Too much of the general public knows the truth.
