This nation was born through a violent bloody revolution. I would contend that the situation that confronts our nation is little different than the situation that confronted those who forged the American experiment.

The old aristocracy has been replaced by an aristocracy of the super wealthy oligarchs. All facets of power, politicians, military and police as little more than their henchmen. The Republican congressional leaders are little more than thugs, not unlike the vast majority police who have little more than contempt for the average citizen, especially minorities. The working class sits on their ass thinking they are exempt from being enslaved as they slide down the economic scale to poverty.
