4. We dine out with our dog ALL the time.

In fact, we only dine at places that allow us to sit with our pup.

Los Angeles allowed dog dining, I believe last year, but there are some restaurants that won't permit it. We respect that and just move on to the place next door that does allow it.

Last year, we went to dine at an Italian restaurant that allows you to sit on the patio with your pup just outside the gate from your table (leash in hand). As we stood near the front door waiting to put our name down, a gray haired man walked outside after dining and was giving us dirty looks. He called for the manager, and told the manager within ear shot of us, that they should not allow dogs while people eat. He and his two teenage kids stormed passed us with snarky eyes all the way to their new Jaguar, shaking their heads.

The manager came to us and said, "Don't worry about it. Your table is ready."

I'm so glad Governor Brown signed this, if because I hope it pisses that man and his children off.
