21. I find it amusing that when any American is awarded an Honorary Knighthood by the Queen

they cannot get their ass over to Buckingham Palace quickly enough to receive their honor.

But seriously, what it is is fascination with what you don't have. And the US has a lot of things like natural wonders but one thing it is lacking is royalty and the associated pomp and pageantry that dates back hundreds and hundreds of years.
