I have seen the evils of overt and covert racism. My beef has nothing at all to do with race. If it were Bush or whomever, I'd "forget" they called to arrange a time. Obama 'a people would at least get a call back.
My beef is with politicians. I like Obama. I voted for him both times. I think he's an ok guy. I think he tries to do the right thing, most of the time. But he is part of the Washington establishment. And I have contempt towards anyone that would seek office.
I have respect for the office of the President. But I don't respect anyone that would seek or take the job. I owe nooyalty toward the men and women in charge, just the institution. I'll follow the laws they pass. I'll pay any fine or tax they put out there. But the flesh and blood people are not worthy of being treated better than anyone else.
