(11,541 posts)They did not say "the entire Air Force and maybe half the Navy" is involved, but mostly strikes by Jordan, SA, UAE, and Egypt planes, some Tomahawk missiles launched from an aircraft carrier sailing in the Red Sea, and another in the Gulf (two ships, not half the entire Navy, obviously).
They said a few predator drones are flown out to destroy hard targets: shelling, mortar gear, guns & amunition depots, and perhaps specific hides of the known "leadership" of these "cockroaches" (lol), like where they sleep (it's early dawn hours there), where they wake up... where they "walk", where they "get together" every morning, and all that stuff.
They say that's just the opening round. They don't expect these nuts will be destroyed tomorrow morning, but that a lot of these "cockroaches" from other countries have never seen what 2014-grade Air Force strikes look like, and that they might suddenly realize they're not 10-feet-tall violent authoritarians as much as they think they are after "seeing" what's in their immediate future.
I sure hope they will wake up from their deluded fantasies and decide it's way better to stop, lay down their guns, and go away praying they won't see more of what they just saw...
