from brutality back home and Maharajah of Calicut provided such asylum and allowed the jews to flourish.

Muslims came to India initially as Arab traders and they were primarily in Gujarat and Kerala. Their goodwill and peacefulness was quickly lost as dozens of brutal invaders came - including Mehmoud Gaznavi, Shaheen, Q'utubuddin Aibak, Shershah, Nadirshah, Malik Q'affar and of course Babur.

Big difference.
