2. The full Supreme Court declined to uphold the stay.

This is a big deal. It's another clear signal from the Supreme Court that they aren't going to interfere in these circuit court decisions.

If a circuit court - perhaps the 6th? - rules against equality, then the SC may step in. Otherwise, they're staying out of this.
