Southwestern College building cordoned off after student becomes ill [View all]

CHULA VISTA, Calif. — Authorities at
Southwestern College have taped off a
building as a precaution after a student
reported feeling ill Thursday.

The campus chief of police is at Building
400, and officials with the San Diego
County Department of Health have been
called to the scene.

Campus officials said information that the
ill student had been exposed to Ebola on
a commercial plane flight have not been
confirmed.

Fox 5 News has a crew on the way to
Southwestern College. This story will be
updated as new information becomes
available.
