Putting a political agent in charge of this effort is exactly the wrong thing to do. Why couldn't he pick someone non-political whose credentials are beyond dispute? What exactly was the motivation to pick someone with zero experience in the field?

Obama desperately needs some advisors from OUTSIDE his inner circle.
