43. Perceptions matter!

Don't get me wrong. This Ebola situation needs a very talented coordinator at the top. And Ron Klain might be perfectly suited for the job.

But perceptions matter. They matter a lot! Mark my words. Because he's a lawyer and not a medical professional, any minor mistakes that Klain makes will be blown way out of proportion. This will hurt the President. Once again, Obama will have to play defense. And you don't score points while on defense.

IMHO, the President should have appointed a well-respected retired military doctor.
