A Democratic operative filed an election complaint Thursday against the National Association for Gun Rights, alleging the group was making a mockery of West Virginias election laws.
Last week, the gun-rights organization distributed a political mailer that attacked House 13th District Josh Martin. The direct-mail piece displayed a photograph of Martins late father, Delegate Dale Martin, who died three years ago.
The election complaint alleges the National Association for Gun Rights has failed to file any campaign finance and electioneering reports with Secretary of State Natalie Tennants office. The group has targeted Martin and at least nine other candidates running for House seats.
The mailers allege the Democrats refuse to support pro-gun measures and didnt return a candidate survey. The House candidates say they never received a copy of the survey from the National Association for Gun Rights.

Since our state GOP has no infrastructure, they have to rely on shady outside operations to do their dirty work. It used to only extend to the bigger offices, but now it takes place on the House level, too.
Thanks, Citizens United!
