(20,450 posts)42. Thanks. There seemed to be some discussion on Al Sharpton's show last week
that the time period for an arrest is dwindling down. Apparently it was stated that you have 175 days to make an arrest after detainment. I didn't say that he was arrested. Therefore, the clock IS winding down if he was detained back in February. We have 175 since that date to arrest him.
I was aware that charges can come at any time as well.
