(11,014 posts)even when they commit atrocities in the name of Islam or take actions such as observing an "anti-Malala day?"
The world should just remain silent and say nothing/do nothing because the poor innocent Muslims are misunderstood and persecuted?
By the way -- I belong to a so called "pagan" religion and we have done fine for thousands of years. We still do quite well despite scores of brutal Muslim invasions, tortures, killings, rapes and forced conversions perpetrated by the invaders from the 11th through the 15th century. Are you trying to say that Islam of today is any different from those dark times? If it is different, in what way?
In my opinion, Islam has not changed at all -- the only thing that has changed is the balance of military and economic power. If Islam became economically and militarily more powerful than others, there is a very good chance that the world will go back to the dark times of invasions, tortures, killings and rapes.
"Islam will dominate the world" is the battle cry of people like Anjem Chaudary and his followers -- do you think differently?
