22. Anyone know how many grand jurors?
Wed Dec 3, 2014, 04:16 PM
Dec 2014

and 12 would have to agreed to prosecute. I thought I heard 23 jurors on CNN just now, but 12 out of 23 just doesn't sound right.

Jurors probably couldn't figure out who killed him.

He was obese, had heart trouble, and asthma. The guy sitting on his chest could have been indicted, as well, but I guess no one knew, although I'd say they could have a pretty good idea that an obese person might have more trouble breathing.

Chokeholds are also not against New York state law, so no law was actually broken. The New York police policy does not allow chokeholds, so the officer indicted should lose his job.

Mr. Garner had about 30 previous arrests (lots of minor arrests, mostly for looses), so he definitely knew the drill.

At least one officer should lose his job, but I don't know that anything else will be done.
