DES MOINES -- Donald Trump is adding events to his Iowa trip next month, his political consultant told The Des Moines Register Tuesday.

Trump has RSVP'ed for a dinner party with Gov. Terry Branstad and Steve Bruere, the president of Peoples Company, a land brokerage firm. And he will join the lineup at the Iowa Freedom Summit, which will feature several GOP potential presidential candidates and other keynote speakers.

"I have always loved visiting Iowa. I look forward to these two special events," Trump told the Register in a statement.

On Saturday, Jan. 24, Trump will speak at the inaugural political summit that U.S. Rep. Steve King and the conservative group Citizens United are hosting. Other confirmed speakers at the daylong event are New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, former neurosurgeon Ben Carson; former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Pennsylvania U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, Utah U.S. Sen. Mike Lee, Tennessee U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, former U.S. ambassador John Bolton and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.

LOL

Another pretend contemplation of a run by the Birther King. Must be low ratings on the latest version of Celebrity Apprentice that he wants to prop up.

And I see Matt Drudge had this one front and center, proclaiming that he was "serious" this time. They never learn.

But by all means, GOP, keep Orly Trump front and center. It did wonders for the Romney campaign.

and check out the line-up of Citizens United speakers at birther Steve King's event: Trump, Carson, Palin, Santorum, Carnival Cruz, the Huckster....going to be comedy gold.

Guess Christie Creme has given up on trying to look sane by joining King's event.
