The suicidal shooter was looking to "glamorize" his suicide, no different from any other grandstanding murder/suicide.

There's no evidence that I've read that indicated he was in any way connected to protests.

They'll play this for all the sympathy they can get, all the press coverage they can get. And it will be used as an excuse for further profiling, civil rights violations and unprovoked killings of black citizens.

This narcissistic suicide has given cops the excuse to escalate the war of attrition and genocide they've waged since the Emancipation Proclamation.

EDIT: I've qualified the word "glamorize" to indicate that I think that was his intent. I certainly don't find his actions glamorous, nor do I consider them reprisals or politically or racially motivated. This sad little person just wanted to get noticed.
