They have had segments of cops among them who have acted for years like out of control thugs and have been protected by the System and the union. Furthermore, they continue killing citizens without consequence. Any cop daring to stand up to the system is in extreme fear for his/her life. Maintaining the status quo results in all cops remaining at risk, even the good cops. And then events like yesterday occur and the Police leadership, union and the cops positively whine about how the people treat them and how dangerous the people are. They are in total denial of the role they have played resulting in incidents resulting in the death or injuries of their "blue brothers." Meanwhile, the refuse to acknowledge their involvement in the problem, refuse to change their ways and will whine again down the road when the next incident occurs.
