It would have been a double win if Martha Coakley and her Lt Gov running mate, Steve Kerrigan, had made it. For those that didn't know, Kerrigan is an openly gay man.

Bondi played stupid about the court decision, "I don't know if it applies to the entire State," solely for the purpose of not having to order the Clerks to do the marriages.
