Now twist and spin and isolate the question any way you want, it won't change the reason for the question.
I know the NY Times printed that expression yesterday, and it was repeated several times after the news of his death and discussion of his life and political career. But they did NOT say it was Cuomo's "campaign slogan", did they?
Just as you left out the context of my so-called "baiting" (your terminology) question, you also conveniently left out the context of the term as it was used in the NY Times obituary:
It was a harsh campaign. In one instance placards appeared in middle-class neighborhoods proclaiming, Vote for Cuomo, Not the Homo. (Mr. Koch declined to answer questions about his sexual orientation.)
Mr. Cuomo and his son Andrew, a campaign adviser, denied having anything to do with the placards, though Mr. Koch said he never fully believed it.
The way you present it, Cuomo was behind the incident AND he embraced it as his "campaign slogan". Both are totally false!
