what I consider valid levels for what is a very subjective exercise in determining that which is/isn't considered to be U.S. aid. However, when known racists/anti-Semites et al find a value supporting their cause that is far beyond what common sense dictates I tend to dismiss them.

Note as well that the $3 trillion amount is only through around 2002, and that the "article" indicates that Stauffer's $3 trillion figure is conservative as it does not include the increased costs incurred during the year-long buildup to the recent war against Iraq in which Israel played a significant, albeit covert, role. Using their same methodology and updating to the current I would think they'd have to add at least another several trillion to this amount, say $5 trillion total?

Why would you assume the Jewish Virtual Library is on my s**t list? I would say they seem to be in line with what most people agree with. Merely pointing out that one source is a joke doesn't negate the others. USING them as a source, JVL indicates the TOTAL amount of aid through 2014 is $120 billion. By comparison, through 2002 the total is $86 billion, or less than 3% of the $3 trillion Stauffer came up with.

Oh, and by the way, The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs is a joke as well, unless you find reports on Israeli organ harvesting to be valid.

Weir’s articles, titled “The New ‘Blood Libel’? Israeli Organ Harvesting” and “Israeli Organ Trafficking and Theft: From Moldova to Palestine,” appeared respectively in CounterPunch, a radical anti-Zionist newsletter, in August (2009), and in the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, an anti-Israel publication that frequently serves as an apologist for Muslim American groups advocating anti-Semitism and support for terrorism, in October.
