The Vatican does not approve of this approach to Catholicism. Besides Scriptures and Tradition, Popes will issue Encyclicals to clarify those two sources of Church doctrine. When the Pope issues an encyclical, he speaks as Jesus Christ, or ex cathedra (http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/05677a.htm) and the pope is considered infallible when he does so. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07790a.htm
So as you can see according to Church doctrine, you really can't be pro-choice, although some Catholics do aver that they are.
