70. No, actually, I think that's a myth

If there were no oil there, we wouldn't care. If we didn't continue to stick our nose in where it doesn't belong, we wouldn't be fighting a war on terror. We've had a long track record of supporting leaders and then turning our back on them out of the expediency of the moment. This certainly applies to Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, and Mommar Quadaffi. We care about the oil. My view is that we can live without Mid-East Oil, and trying to broker peace in the region isn't our concern. Let the European nations who once colonized the area, or China who is desperate for Iranian oil take the lead on this.
