6. All the more reason to stop the corporate privatization & dumbing down of public schools

for profit. Kids will receive even less little knowledge of US history and govt. and conservatives will have more reign to distort the truth laid out in the Constitution and by other founding principles. In this anti-govt., free market and right wing dominated world there most likely won't be a restoration of teaching civics and government in schools, although there should be. It's is a huge oversight on the part of Dems. and everyone residing in a free, democratic society. And as is well known, if kids understand the system they would know how it works and be able to change it.
