The book your referring to is based on a quite different agenda and focuses solely on the right wing conservative movement. What Pilger is pointing out is that Neocons and Neoliberals pursue the same foreign policy agenda. This has also been pointed out on numerous occasions by such renowned figures as Noam Chomsky, Chris Hedges and Naomi Klein, amongst others.
