The majority of Americans support a single payer health care system.

I'm very disappointed that many Hillary supporters now refer to it as free stuff. That's an out right lie and the kind of language used by right wing republicans. Single payer just gets rid of for profit middlemen who have a vested interest in not paying out for health care.
