As for "organic" farming, while there are problems with the labeling and what constitutes that, it is an endeavor worth pursuing and understanding better for all our health. Man made poisons, while immediately appearing more effective, all too often come with a host of issues on the back-end that take years to understand. This is made even harder by these companies machinations to obscure and suppress the truth.
The companies that make these products have but one priority, make money for their shareholders, and CEO's. They pursue this to the point of subverting the very government agencies and clouding the discourse on their safety for decades. On funding the changes in laws to allow them to do things that were illegal now legally, or with immunity (ALEC ring a bell?). On the regulatory capture of our government.
I suppose the examples of DDT, Agent Orange, of Big Tobacco and Cigarettes and now, Big Oil knowing of climate change since the 70's and covering it up and confusing the science in protection pf profits is totally lost on you.
