What about dominance displays by our non-human cousins, the apes? They are echoed by some politicians, I am thinking about Trump here, but also about the George W. Bush display when he was photographed in his "crotch enhanced" flight suit.

Finally, is there an echo here of the powerful white master protecting the childlike dependent?
